In Year 8 students develop their analytical and evaluative skills further by completing written tasks in preparation for the GCSE course.

KS3 Time plans

GCSE

Students should have an interest in working in a creative way to present ideas in a dramatic form for an audience. An enthusiasm for theatre and the varied design aspects of theatrical production is desirable. Students must be prepared to take responsibility for working with a group towards a final performance, using their organisation and communication skills. It is vital that students are confident in performing in front of an audience. Students must also be able to document their practical work and keep a detailed and specific written account of their practical development.
