Mission Statement

The purpose of St Thomas More school is the all-inclusive development of each individual within a loving community which is welcoming, safe, forgiving, positive; challenging each to follow Christ in serving others.

• Values: Principles that guide our behaviour

• Resilience: We will live this out through having the courage to overcome challenges, to celebrate our success, to have a positive attitude and to take appropriate risks.

• Faith: We will live this out through following the teachings of Christ - love, kindness, compassion and forgiveness.

• Inclusion: We will live this out by following the words of Christ. ‘Love one another as I have loved you’, acknowledging that ‘We are all made in the image and likeness of God’, thus enabling us to radiate Christ in our actions and in our attitudes to all people.

• Aspiration: We will live this out by striving to always do our best and by challenging ourselves, in all aspects of life.

• Respect: We will live this out by treating everyone as we would like to be treated and walking through the journey of life together.
