Friends of STM

We have now transitioned our Parents Association to be a wider invitation to our community. We now have 15+ active parent members and any parent, or anyone who is associated with our school in our wider community are welcome to write to Ms. Beck expressing their interest.

Friends of STM work together to support the students, staff and families of St. Thomas More, but also to support charities on a local, national and global level. 

Can You Help?

Many parents have asked how they can help the Friends of STM raise money for their children’s school.

Attending Friends of STM events throughout the school year can be a fun and enjoyable way (when post COVID restrictions allow again), but this is not necessarily easy or practical should it encroach on other family or work commitments or childcare difficulties.

Another way of supporting the Friends of STM endeavours to fundraise is by providing raffle prizes. We would happily take any unwanted gifts, which we can utilise in forthcoming raffles, particularly the Summer BBQ. All donations can be sent in to the school office for the attention of  Mrs Stockman.

Donations do not have to be gifts. Do we have any qualified beauty therapists, manicurists or hairdressers willing to donate pampering sessions, for example?

Do you own or manage a restaurant? A table for two would make a wonderful prize!

Are there any holiday-home owners prepared to offer their accommodation for a week or weekend, as a tempting raffle prize?

Finally, cash donations are always welcome, and the Friends of STM are happy to receive donations by bank standing order, should this prove easier for you.

Thank you for any past support you have given which has enabled Friends of STM to provide all of our children with equipment not always covered by State funding. More importantly, thank you for your future support; it is very much appreciated by the children of St Thomas More.
